You can laugh at Christianity. You can mock and ridicule it. But it works. If you trust Christ, start watching your attitudes and actions—Jesus Christ is in the business of changing lives. Christianity is not something to be shoved down your throat or forced upon you. You have your life to live and I have mine. All I can do is tell you what I have learned and experienced. After that, what you do with Christ is your decision.
spiritualinspiration:

God has an assignment for you that nobody else can fulfill. God needs you. He needs your gifts, your smile, your love, your passion. You are a part of His divine plan. You have something to offer nobody else can offer. Nobody has your exact personality, your exact looks. There is something unique about you. Don’t wear that “average” label. If you think you’re average, then you’ll be average. If you think you’re ordinary, then you’ll live an ordinary, “get by life” and never do anything great.

The truth is, there is nothing ordinary about you. You have the fingerprints of God all over you. The Creator of the universe breathed His life into you. He crowned you with His favor. You have royal blood flowing through your veins. You have a destiny to fulfill, something greater than you’ve ever even imagined. Embrace His truth, embrace His love, and embrace the blessings He has in store for your future!

spiritualinspiration:

God doesn’t want us to just barely get by in life. He wants us to thrive and experience the fullness of His blessing. Not only does He want to meet our needs, He wants us to be in a position to reach out and help meet the needs of others, too.

When we pray and ask God for something, it opens a supernatural door. Our faith gives God something to work with. Faith is what pleases Him. Faith moves mountains. Did you know that it pleases God when we pray bold prayers and ask Him for big things? God loves it when we step outside of the realm of the possible and totally believe what He can do. With God, all things are possible!

Today, I encourage you to get bold with your prayers. Ask God for big things. Believe that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Put your faith to work because God is faithful. He has big things in store for you, and He says to ask Him!
Modesty at Mass
While attending summer mass, I often see women giving others an eye of shame when they walk in dressed in strappy sundresses and tank tops. My beloved friends, I ask of you to be careful of judging others when attending mass. We do not know them, we do not know their story or how they got to where they are. Like the majority of church-goers, many of these women are still on their journey of faith. They are no different than you and I. The topic of dressing modestly while attending mass is often widely confused with judging others who do not live up to these standards. We tend to give them looks of disapproval, we make them feel unwelcomed, or like they do not belong. These are our sisters in Christ, and they need our guidance, not our criticism. Join me in welcoming these souls back to our house of God rather than pushing them towards the door. :)
